My mother in law recently received a recommendation from neighbor and had All Pro come out for a leak at her master bath. Junior said he would fix the leak completely. What ended up happening is he fixed one leak at a charge of 400$ and installed a de-scaling device at a cost of 2500$. This is is upsetting to me on many levels. Number one she is an elderly Japanese woman with a loose understanding of the English language. She also just lost her husband and they recently removed a water softener no more than 6 months ago. I find it hard to believe the build up occurred. There is also a leak at crawl space that was never addressed. I feel like this was a cash grab at least. I have expressed my concerns to Steve Baker and unsatisfied with his response asked for him to elevate situation. I have received no response. I also contacted the manufacturer of the device and I am waiting on a response. I am a construction manager in Mesa, Az and I have asked multiple plumbing trades that we work with and they seem to concur that the device was unnecessary. I am waiting on a response and weighing all options at this point.
